The 2023 AISINDO Symposium on Accounting Information Systems and Digital Transformation brings together researchers, practitioners, and educators to explore the intersection of accounting practice and information systems in the rapidly digitising economies of Southeast Asia and beyond. Organised under the auspices of AISINDO — the official Indonesia Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) — the symposium provides a forum for rigorous peer-reviewed research that addresses the unique challenges and opportunities facing accounting information systems in emerging economy contexts.

About AISINDO

AISINDO (Yayasan Asosiasi Sistem Informasi Indonesia) is the Indonesia Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), a global professional association serving the Information Systems academic community. Founded in 2014 and legally incorporated as a Yayasan (Foundation) with Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights decree AHU-07029.50.10.2014, AISINDO is one of the founding associations of LAMINFOKOM, Indonesia's independent accreditation body for Informatics and Computing. AISINDO is hosted at the Department of Information Systems, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya.
